Recently, I was lucky enough to represent my school, The Downs School, at the IAPS national athletics event at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. First we had to qualify in a regional event at Millfield school in Somerset. At the regional qualifying I came second in the U12 100m, but managed to win the U12 800m and qualify for the national finals.

Training in Florida Dec 2009..
This week I have been on holiday in Florida and while here have spent a few days at the Bollitieri tennis academy in Bradenton. (Click on the picture to see some video of me training)
Training at David Lloyd Bristol..
This is a picture of me training at David Lloyd Tennis Centre in Bristol (taken by my Mum's friend Martin, who is a really good photographer). David Lloyd is my home club. However, a few days later I broke my arm doing gymnastics and I will now be in a cast until 30 November. I am still working on my fitness though, and will be really well rested at the end of this "training block"!!

The last few weeks have been really busy as I have been lucky enough to visit Bulgaria, France, Spain and Belgium for tournaments and training. I spent a week in Plovdiv in Bulgaria with some of the other British tennis girls for training. We played training matches against the Bulgarian team. I then went to Bressuire in France for a U11 tournament. I played pretty well but lost in the semi-finals to Anastasia Mikheeva from Scotland. The score was 7-6, ... Read More
